Hi Friends!

I apologize for being so late in posting my last project. This week has been very hectic in our house, and very BUSY for Scrappy Mom's! Thanks to all our wonderful fans!

I decided to open my brand new Sweet Treat Boxes cartridge to make this 3-D cupcake. I had an idea to give cupcakes with birthday cards this year.. and since one of my very DEAR friends Birthday's is this weekend it was the perfect time to make this treat box. I LOVE Sprinkles cupcakes but there isn't one super close to us so I found the next best thing.. Sweet Daddy's cupcakes.. as seen on Cupcake Wars. I am hoping she just loves this little box with the treat inside. I hope to make MANY more of these. Our brand new Mini Messages set worked PERFECT for the little tag. This set is just amazing. To fit my cupcake I had to cut the box at 10-1/2 inches.

Hi Friends,

Today I made a a super cute little tissue box from the Silhouette Store! I think that the new Mini Messages are so perfect for tags of all sizes. I soo love 3-D projects that I just know I will use every last sentiment for my shape cards and boxes and bags. They are perfect for just this! This little tissue box holds a small purse size pack of tissues. I think it would be perfect to give to someone as a little get well pick me up!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge-- From the Heart!

I cannot believe two weeks have gone by! Where did January go? We are back with another Terrific Tuesday Challenge at Scrappy Mom's! Since Valentine's Day is a week away we decided to create something From the Heart! Please join us by creating a project with a "heart" as the main theme and link it to Scrappy Mom's for a chance to win a set of stamps!

Today I decided to make this little Valentine's box from SVG CUTS. I found that you can now get gift certificates for REDBOX so I thought this would be perfect to give my daughter's therapists for Valentines. This was so much fun to make! The sentiment is from our Love Struck set. I filled this with a little note pad and some See's candy hearts.

Today I made a Valentine Box using a cut from SVG CUTS. The box was from love me do set. My intention was to make three of these but this was VERY time consuming.... I am afraid my daughters entourage will "not" be all getting these boxes but I will save it for someone special... I used our brand new Crazy for You! set to stamp the sentiment.

Terrific Tuesday Challenge-- Cartoony Creations

I guess I took a much needed " break" without even realizing it... but I am so excited for the New Year and to be back with another Terrific Tuesday Challenge at Scrappy Mom's? I hope you are all recovering from the holidays as well. I absolutely cannot WAIT for Valentine's Day.. it is one of my most treasured holidays and we have some super cute things coming soon....

So we decided to make the first Terrific Tuesday Challenge something inspired by "Cartoon Characters". The obvious choice for me was Hello Kitty or Disney but I forced myself to use my Elmo Cartridge to create this fish bowl with Dorthy swimming around. I used one of our very FIRST sets, Amusing Animals! to stamp the sentiment. Terrific Tuesday Challenge-- It's in the BAG...

Hello and Merry Christmas,

Today is our very last Terrific Tuesday Challenge of the YEAR!! I honestly cannot believe how fast this year has flown by. I have already started making so many resolutions for 2012. My house has been struck by those nasty cold weather colds right now so we are all trying to get better so we can enjoy Christmas.

Scrappy Mom's Stamps is now carrying these absolutely adorable bags by WhiskerGraphics. We decided to all use the bags as our challenge for today. I happened to use the Bitty Chevron Bag to make a super cute gift card holder. I intended on sending this with my son for his high school teacher(s) with a coffee gift card. He informed me that it isn't "cool" giving gifts in HIGH SCHOOL.. I feel bad because I know how hard our teachers work but I have to honor his wishes.. darn. I made the rosette and the layering tags by using an SVG file from SVG attic. I love love these cuts. I used the rosette and the tags from the gift card holder and they were super easy to put together. The sentiment is from our A Holiday to Remember set. The tag on the inside is cut from Tags, Boxes and More. We hope you will join us in creating anything centered around a "bag"... You will be entered to win a Scrappy Mom's stamp set!

Hello Everyone!

I hope you are enjoying all the fun projects using our brand new Scrappy Mom's stamp sets. There is just SOO much to create with them!

I am a book lover so when I discovered this ADORABLE book mark over at the Silhouette Store I just knew I had to try it. I used the new Hooray for Birthday's set to stamp this tiny little tag. This set can be used for so many things. I also want to recommend one of the best reads of the season.. CHRISTMAS JARS by Jason F. Wright. My time is so limited these days that I am still NOT finished but so far it is an amazing book. If you want something that gives you HOPE and inspiration during the holiday season this will do it. It would take the average person an hour or so to finish.. but in ten minute increments.. a week tops!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge-- Merry Christmas Sleigh

I am so sorry I have been so lax in posting! I am so excited that today is another Terrific Tuesday Challenge here at Scrappy Mom's! I have had such a hard time accomplishing things these days, so I was relieved to have a challenge that would inspire me to finish my daughter's therapists gifts.I LOVED this sleigh from SVG ATTIC! I was actually fortunate to win a grand prize from SVG attic. I was beyond excited because I love every single cut they have! THANK YOU SVG attic. You have to check out there line if you have not done so already! This is a sleigh that also has it's own gift card holder. The itty bitty present is also included in this cut. I LOVE it... The therapists are getting Bath and Body works gift cards and of course some yummy antibacterial pocket soap.

So we decided to just go with a general Christmas theme for this Tuesday's challenge. Today I made a little candy bar holder. This is a SVG cuts file and of course I had to add the cute little "bee" from create a critter. I think he is just the cutest insect there is. I put a yummy vintage looking Hershey's bar on the inside. I figured it would make a cute birthday treat. I used the Scrappy Mom's

Today I made a little Fall card using the new A Holiday to Remember set! I have just loved this turkey fom simply charmed ever since I layed eyes on it. I decided to re-create the main dish we all look foward to on Thanksgiving day to compliment this sentiment. There is nothing better than a homeade turkey sandwich with Best Foods Mayo after a long grueling Black Friday shopping extravaganza! I cannot wait.. this set makes me so excited for the holiday season!!

Scrappy Mom's Sneak-- Laughter is the best Medicine

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to Day 2 of the Scrappy Mom's Sneak Peeks! We hope you are enjoying the new sets.

Today I decided to use a sentiment from the new Believe in Miracles set! When I spotted this bird from the 3 birds on parade cartridge I just KNEW I had to use it, and here is why....My Papa was one of the sweetest, and funniest men I have ever known. When I was about eight years old I was at my Grandparents home when the doorbell rang. I answered the doo,r to find a very unusual man in large glasses and an ABNORMALLY large nose requesting to speak to my mother. When my Mom escorted me to the front door we were suprised to see that there on our doorstep was my Papa laughing himself to tears that I actually fell for his joke, and his WoolWorth's glasses! My Papa passed away in 2003 from Cancer and I am so honored that I was blessed to have such a wonderful Grandfather in him! I will cherish these memories forever♥

We are thrilled to be releasing two new stamp sets this month at
Scrappy Mom's Stamps! We are releasing both the Believe in Miracles set and A Holiday to Remember! These sets are very sentimental to us here at the Scrappy Mom's Family and we hope you will enjoy them as much as we do. It is so important to remember how lucky we all are this time of year and all we have to be thankful for!
Today I decided to make a project with the A Holiday to Remember set. I just love the Fall and Winter Holidays and making this little project was so much fun. I used the SVG ATTIC Fall Holiday boxes for this wagon and pumpkin ensemble. I just LOVE LOVE everything SVG attic has to offer. Jessica is so creative. Of course the sentiment fit perfectly!

Hi Everyone!Today I have a quick little Halloween Frog card I made using create a critter and

Mini Monster's. I have been wanting to try a slider card for awhile now and my daughter just LOVES frogs so I decided to make her a cute Halloween card! She calls frogs ODIE O'S( from a little song we always sing).

I used our brand new Bewtiched stamp set! I just cannot wait to use every single sentiment on this set. SO anyway I made this little slider card with the help of my gypsy and the witch's hat pulls up with the message. When I was finished I asked Hannah " What is this?" she replied with ODIE O.. it made my day to know she approved. Hope you enjoy!

Today I made some super cute Vintage Halloween Party bags from SVG CUTS! My daughter will give these to her therapists for Halloween filled with bath and body candles and a cute little pumpkin candle holder. I used our new Bewitched set for the tags! This set is so perfect. It is great for treat bags, cards and scrapbook pages. We hope you love it as much as we do!!!!

Scrappy Mom's New Release-- Game Day and Bewitched

Happy Friday!

We are so excited to announce our two brand new stamp sets here at Scrappy Mom's! Our new sets are Game Day and Bewitched!

Since we are having a fabulous Halloween Hop tomorrow I decided to showcase a quick little card using the Game Day set! This set is just so much fun. I made this card using the Sports Mania cartridge and it was super quick and simple. I needed quick since it has been a very hectic week. I tryed ticking around the tag but it just wasn't happening. I just LOVE this paper as it looks and feels like a real basketball!

I just want to give you a quick update on my little pumpkin! She is doing better than ever. We are so excited she bounced back so quickly. Thank you for all your well wishes and prayers. We really appreciate it!!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge-- Country Life Banner

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to another Terrific Tuesday Challenge here at Scrappy Mom's! This week's challenge is to make something using the country life cartridge. We hope you will all join us and make something, anything with this "theme" in mind.

I NEVER knew country life had a complete font and BANNER icon!! I am in LOVE. This was a cartridge I had to have and don't use very often. I decided to make a banner for my darling little daughter, Hannah! She will be having surgery today and I wanted something to be cherry and girly when we bring her home! It really helped take my mind of this dreaded day and it was so fun to make. I strung it on tulle and made little tulle flowers. Every single thing used in this banner came from Country Life. The stamp sentiment is from our Scrappy Mom's All in the Family set!! I thought this little daughter sentiment was perfect for the flower.

Hi Everyone!

Last week was so busy for me that I am just getting around to posting my projects. When I found this adorable little schoolhouse at SVG CUTS I just knew I wanted to try it. It was so much fun to assemble.

I used our brand new School Day's for the sentiment. The bag is a wilton bag from Joann's and it has it's own drawstring. It was so easy to fill with some school candy.. old fashioned Mary Janes! I just LOVE this set!!

Hello and Happy Tuesday!

Here is another quick card for you! I used my SILHOUETTE and got this adorable little card from the silhouette store. I am in LOVE with this machine. The sentiment is from our BRAND NEW School Day's set. I know I used one of these on my milk cartons but this saying is sooo perfect for a big chunky pencil! I have a thing for a nice, sharpened Dixon Ticonderoga Pencil too! I learned a little something on my trip to NY.. the Dixon, Ticonderoga pencil is not made in TICONDEROGA but it is made with graphite from Ticonderoga.. pretty exciting! I personally think they are the BEST!!

Scrappy Mom's Sneak #2- Raining Cat's and Dogs

Hello Friends!

So sorry for being late in posting my second project! My family and I spent the day at the ball park and we had an absolute "BALL".. not to mention our team won! It can't get any better than that!

My next project is a little dog card I made with our brand new set Raining Cat's and Dogs! We had a lot of requests for a pet stamp set and so here it is! I was so happy I had a stamp appropriate to give my neighbors. Their sweet dog, Forest just passed away so I made this card to cheer them up! He was a German Shepard so of course I had to make a gray puppy. I was inspired by Ruthie, to create this card base using gypsy wanderings! I absolutely love it. The dog was created using four legged friends.

Terrific Tuesday Challenge-- RELAX with a drink!!

Hi Friends!!
Welcome to another Terrific Tuesday Challenge at Scrappy Mom's!! We chose to use the cartridge Pack your Bags this time around. Since all our kiddos are getting ready to go back to school and summer is almost over ( not the case in ARIZONA)...this cart was completely appropriate.

My little card is another shape card. I felt this was appropriate because we have had a hectic time in our family these past few weeks! We could all "RELAX" a little. Our little special needs daughter, Hannah, had a little health scare and we spent a day at the children's hospital along with MANY doctor's appointments. THANK GOD she is okay and she will need to have surgery next month to fix her little tummy. We thank GOD every day we have with her♥

I used the Sun Kissed set on this coconut mai-tai drink.. I think that is what it is? I don't really know for sure. I do know that whatever it is it is probably pretty tasty!!

I apologize for being MIA and I LOVE LOVED all your comments about the little backpack. You surely made my day!

Welcome to another Terrific Tuesday Challenge at Scrappy Mom's!

This weeks challenge is to use the Camping Critter or Nify Fifites cricut cartridge. I have been wanting to make this backpack from Camping Critters forever. I decided to glam it up and make it totally girl friendly! Inside I packed some yummy Trader Joe's Trail Mix. Although it is simple it took some time to assemble. I cut it at 10-1/2 inches. I used our brand new Happy Camper stamps. These are sooo much fun!

Happy Sunday!!

I had such good intentions on posting a few more projects this week but the week ended in what seems like a BLINK! Last week was the best though! My silhouette came in the mail, we had a girls day out with lots of "crafty" shopping and my hubby got me a new IPhone..

So.. the project I made today is a compilation of all my crafty technology. I just died for the strawberries that LAUREN made! These strawberries are very similar to those she created..I actually got the strawberry cut from Mygrafico. This company has some SUPER cute things and they are unbelievably SWEET. I cut this adorable little basket from the silhouette store! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way this machine cuts. And of course I used my cricut and birthday bash cartridge for the tag stamped with the sentiment from our new Quirky Quotes set! This was one fun project to make. The twine is from the twinery and can be purchased HERE.

Sorry for being so late in posting. My DD had a long, drawn out dentist appointment this am and I still had to put some finishing touches on my card!

Today I have made a shape card using Nifty Fifties! I just LOVE this cartridge. It is very similar to From my Kitchen but with many more options. I was inspired by this old time vintage phone so I just HAD to use our new Scrappy Mom's Quirky Quotes! I just LOVE anything vintage.. at times I wonder if I was born into the wrong ERA!

Scrappy Mom's Happy Camper's-- Gimme Smore

Happy Sunday!

Here is a project I made with the brand new Happy Camper's Set! My hubby is taking my son to the cabin in the next few weeks so I wanted to send them with a traditional SMORE'S KIT.. no better time to use our brand new stamps to embellish the box!! Of course I could not make it to frilly!

I created the box by using an SVG CUT from the Valentine line. I then used Campin Critters for the Tag and these adorable stamps!

Hope you like the finished product. Do you know that Honey Maid Graham crackers packages the crackers in small perfect little "SMORES" bundles.. I LOVE IT!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge--I'm Berry Sorry

Hi All!

It is so wonderful to be back and crafting again! Our trip back East was AMAZING. We had such a wonderful time and will hold those memories in our hearts forever!!

Today is another Terrific Tuesday challenge at Scrappy Mom's! We hope you will all join us in creating something with the PRESERVES cartridge or anything similar.I actually don't own this cartridge(Are you SHOCKED??), so I decided to make a cute little strawberry from Indie Art. I thought this berry looked very similar to something I could pick from Preserves. I wanted to go to Mel's house on Friday to use hers but I was still suffering from jet lag.

Anyway.. I made this shape card with my gypsy and Indie Art. The sentiment is from our brand new GOOD EATS set! And I used floral cloth wire for the swirlies. I think this looks pretty summery.

We are so thankful to all of you who joined us in our Birthday celebration!!! You are the BEST! We had so much fun and are so excited to have celebrated a whole YEAR!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge-- Stand and Salute!

Happy Summer Everyone!

Today is another wonderful day at Scrappy Mom's! We are having another Terrific Tuesday Challenge. This weeks challenge is to use the cricut cartridge Stand and Salute.. or any other cartridge in which you can make something super patriotic. I was wanting to do the liberty bell FOREVER and noticed that it is very popular these days. There are so many different takes on it so I decided to put mine on a wobble to make it a little unique. Thanks to LIZ I broke out my brand new Tim Holtz embossing folder for the top of the bell. The real liberty bell has wood EXACTLY like this. Thanks Liz... and of course I used the brand newYankee Doodle Dandystamps for the sentiment.

I am especially excited because as you read this I will be on a plane to my hometown and going to see Lady Liberty herself!!!! It will be an AMAZING way to ring in the Fourth of July. So I wish you and yours a wonderful Fourth..I cannot wait to see my family and get create some amazing memories!! Happy Fourth to you ALL!!!

Today I made a little slice of pie from the Lettering Delights pack.. oishi. I agonized over the color of a pie. I wanted to make it red, white and blue but then I thought "ALL AMERICAN" pie is APPLE.. it has to be apple.... the hubs and I decided to make it green for "green apples" and when I went to put it together I thought.. that sure looks like KEY LIME pie to me. Anyway.. I went with traditional apple and the adorable saying from Yankee Doodle Dandy! I put tootsie pops on the inside as a little treat. These would be so fun to fill a basket or pie plate with! I will have a few more things this week!

In Tribute to Father's Day I made this little shape card with our new Good Eats stamp set. I NEVER have masculine cards so I thought I would put this sentiment to use. I am just LOVING both these sets. I am trying to get lots and lots of use of them before my BIG vaca!

I used the Lettering Delights( pucker up ) for this beer bottle. I added the lime from the coconut drink also found in this set. I used Gypsy wanderings for the tag and honeydew twine which can be purchased HERE. I hope you are all enjoying these fun new stamps!

Today for our Terrific Tuesday Challenge we are using the Sweet Treats Cartridge. Our second set ever released was Sweet Somethings! I used this set to stamp the sentiment on this ICE CREAM card. I just love how sweet treats has a card feature for EVERY single cut. It makes it so much fun for people that are ADDICTED to shape cards(like myself). this card was super simple to make and I embossed the bottom with my Quickcutz embossing folder.

For my project today I made this KETCHUP shape card. One of my ALL time favorite Scrappy Mom's Stamp Set's has to be A PINCH AND A DASH!! I used a cut from lettering delights to design this card. I just LOVE this set!

It's another exciting Terrific Tuesday Challenge at Scrappy Mom's! We hope you will all join us in creating something that reminds you of summer or the beach! We are using Life's A Beach for this challenge.. since summer is HERE!! ( At least it is in Arizona)!

Today I made a shape card from Life's a Beach! I have been wanting to make this Pina Colada, or Pineapple shape card forever. I used my gypsy to weld the pieces and it wasn't the easiest thing ever but it is a SIMPLE concept for sure. It definitely makes me think of summer. I used the brand new Scrappy Mom's Sun Kissed stamps! I am sure loving these and hope to have at least a few more projects before the end of the week.

Sun Kissed Sneak Peak #2-- Summer Lovin

Hi Friends!

I hope you are all enjoying the new Sun Kissed stamp set. They are just so much fun and it definitely feels like summer here in sunny Arizona!

Today I decided to make this adorable little project with the "Summer Lovin" sentiment. I am ADDICTED to Coca Cola..(Diet that is..) and I love how adorable these bottles are. I first spotted this idea at Angela Yosten's blog! She has the CUTEST ideas and is an amazing seamstress and designer. My teenage son is going into HIGH SCHOOL next year so I decided to make him this treat to start off the summer! I didn't want to make it too frilly but since he shares my love for Coke I thought he would enjoy it. I used gypsy wanderings for the tag and Nifty Fifties for the soda bottle. There are about 12 candy bars used in the construction of this! What a cute gift to give as a pick me up or a special occasion! Thank you to Angela for the inspiration.. you have to check out her blog. I "SEW" want to learn to make clothes and projects like hers one day!

With the warm weather approaching it is time to release our brand new Scrappy Mom's Sun Kissed stamps! We are so in love with this set and it makes us anticipate all those things summer brings! I LOVE SUMMER and I am SOOO looking forward to our big trip to NY next month!

I created a shape card with the Lettering Delights Summer Treats SVG cut. The Tag is from Tags. Boxes and More. All I could think of was Popsicles, and boy have we gone through them this last week in my house with all this "SICKNESS" hanging over us. I just love this sentiment and had so much fun making this card! It represents all things YUMMY and SWEET..

I made this little princess with the cake card today!! My daughter's BFF just turned seven so I now have a card to send her( late of course)!!! I thought this sentiment was "PERFECT" for her and I used Sugar and Spice for the labels. The twine can be purchased here. I have to tell you that I had this sketch idea in my head from a card that Lauren made!! Thank you Lauren!!!

So for today's project I decided to do something not PRINCESS related at all!! Isn't it nice to mix things up? I am in LOVE with these SVG files from Lettering Delights. What is sweeter than strawberry jam!! YUMMO.. I shaped and welded this cardin the make the cut software. It was just sooo much fun and I thought the sentiment fit so well..

So for today's project I altered a little clipboard, matching pen and memo pad. I plan on making one of these for each of my children so that they can have their own personal " TO DO" lists.. Once my magnetic board is finished I will put both of them on the hook. I find I get so much more done if the list is there to hold me accountable. I just used modge podge to glue the paper down. Twine to hold the pen and Plantin School Book for the letters. The letters are not centered so well but I am a bit fussy these days. In this case I will be the one filling out Hannah's list so it will help me too.

Today I used a little clear plastic tube to make a butterfly favor. I decided to make this for my neighbor and friend as she is going through a lot in her life right now. I used the "HOPE" from Hope Happens on the Simple Sentiment's Set! these clear tubes are so fun to fill with candies. The butterfly is cut form Once Upon a Princess.

I thought it would make the perfect Anniversary card. But boy I tell you.. finding bacon colors was a difficult job. We had BLTA'S for dinner ( bacon, lettuce, tomato, and AVOCADO).. so I matched up the colors the best I could...

Mr. Potato Head Shape Card

Hi Friends! It is great to be BACK!

I am so sorry I have been MIA for so long... spring break came and went, then I had a wonderful visit with my family from NY, and then my darling daughter had her 11th BIRTHDAY!! Not to mention I have officially completed 4 weeks of P90X with my husband! Boy is that a time COMMITMENT. I have not had one second to post anything. I am SOOOO far behind in my card making. Now I have thank you cards to make and several birthday cards that are LATE...

This is birthday card 1 out of 5 I have to make!! I made this for my little nephew Mason. Who doesn't love TOY STORY?? It is my all time favorite movie!

I used the toy story cartridge and my gypsy to make this shape card and it was so fun. The Birthday sentiment is from the Scrappy Mom's Everyday Greetings set!

I promise to have at LEAST two cards this week!! I just pray I can get ahead on my personal stash.. it is horrible to be CARD-LESS!!

I have been wanting to post my card for TWO days now but LIFE got ahold of me. Thanks to our loyal, wonderful followers and fans we have had a BUSY week here at Scrappy Mom's! Today I made a card with my Make the Cut software that Melanie and I just had to have. I used the spring bunnies from svg.cuts.com! I love these little bunnies and hope to make a lot more things with them.

This little "bear" is dressed in a bunnny suit and I thought he would compliment this sentiment perfectly.. I used my Peechy Keen critter faces for the eyes on the bear and Lacey Labels for the card base. I hope you are enjoying all the projects with this new line. I made this little shape card for one of my favorite Furry Friend's sentiments!! I tried to find a way to incorporate the saying on the outside but the fish was just TOOO cute to add anything to his profile.. so I opted for stamping on the inside. I used create a critter and my gypsy to make this fun little shape card.

We'll I have to apologize for not posting since the last Terrific Tuesday challenge! We have been so busy... I keep resolving to get ahead of schedule on cards but it never seems to happen. At least I know this week I will have a few things to share as MOMO is having a blog hop on Valentine's Day! I have a few things I have made for one of my favorite holidays!

I decided to make this adorable little pencil holder which was inspired by my darling little daughter. Pencils are not her forte but FROGS sure are. I found this super pencil tutorial over at Kerry's Papercarfts! I just fell in love with it and it is super easy! Not to mention I love any excuse to take out my Martha Stewart Score Board.. that is a dream!

Today I made a little owl card with the hoot and holler cricut lite cartridge. I made the card base with my gypsy and the Sugar and Spice cartridge.

Terrific Tuesday Challenge-- Roller Skate Birthday Girl

Hi Everyone and Welcome to Terrific Tuesdays with the Scrappy Mom's!

For Today's challenge I chose to make a shape card from the Birthday Bash Cartridge. I just could not resist this cute little roller skate. It is the card feature on the Bee with the shopping bag. I cut it at 5-1/2 inches and then cut a top layer at 5-1/4 inches. I used the sentiment from our Scrappy Mom's simple sentiments set.

We will be picking a winner at the end of the month once we have finished the next challenge which will take place on January 25th! If you join us for both challenges you will have TWO chances to win a brand new set of Scrappy Mom's Stamps.. you are going to LOVE them!! We hope you all have fun!!

We are so excited to announce that we at Scrappy Mom's Stamps will be hosting a bi-monthly challenge starting this Tuesday January 11th. The challenges will be held on the 2 and 4th Tuesday's of the month. This will be a cricut cartridge challenge and if you don't have the specific cricut cartridge you can substitute for something you do have.

We will post the challenge on Tuesday and you will have until the following Monday to post your entry. We will have a prize drawing at the end of the month for both challenges. If you enter both you will have two chances of winning!!

Today I have made a simple hello kitty combo! A friend of mine LOVES Hello Kitty and she has a January Birthday also. I made her a super simple hello kitty card and matching box. The box is a sizzix die and the card and hello kitty icon is from the Hello Kitty cartidge. This is one of my absolute favorites. You can literally make this card in less than 10 minutes using the card feature. The sentiment is from ourScrappy Mom's simple sentiments set.

Wow!! I cannot believe Christmas has come and gone. I hope you all had a most wonderful holiday and were to able to get some R&R. I wanted to post a picture of my little Hannah with Santa. She sooo loved him this year, and much to my delight she did not try to pull his hair or beard once... WHEW!!

I have got to get into the swing of things and make some thank you cards this week as well as get ready for Joanna's upcoming Birthday celebration hop... and January is SUCH a busy birthday month for me I better get working FAST!!!!

Today I created a simple little project. I used the Sizzix gingberbread house die to make these adorable little gift card holders. My wonderful friend Katie delivered this to me in November..straight from California! THANK YOU KATIE!! I cut some little tags on the cricut using Gypsy Wanderings and Storybook for the names. This little tree sits in my daughter, Hannah's playroom. I made these for her therapists that come every week and work with her. Inside there is a scratch and sniff Target gift card.. yummy.

Christmas Tree Color Activity

Hi Everyone!

With Christmas just around the corner I wanted to make a fun activity for my daughter!! My little angel, Hannah, is special needs and since she doesn't go to school I am always trying to create fun activites for both her and I! This did not come out perfect because I had to have it laminated and then cut it out...but it will withstand a lot of wear and tear. Too bad the cricut couldn't trace around objects once they are laminated..

I used Christmas Cheer for the tree, George and Basic shapes for the star and Winter Frolic for the ornaments. I had it laminated and used velcro so she can choose the colors and take them off and on the tree. Her FAVORITE color is green!! She knows the sign for it and everything.. so if we can learn RED by Christmas it will make my YEAR!!

Jolly Holidays Happy Birthday Card!

Hi Everyone!

I made this adorable little snowman for my Niece's Birthday which was December 3rd! SHAME on me!!! I am so bad at getting my cards out lately. I just run out of time in the day!!! I need 28 hours.. not 24!

I used my brand NEW JOLLY HOLIDAYS cartridge and my BRAND NEW Birthday Bash cart for the card cut. Look at me--I got two out of the package in one day! I also used the "NEW" Scrappy Mom's Simple Sentiments set...I love this little bitty Happy Birthday stamp!

My mom and I went to Walmart on Black Friday and she bought me THREE cartridges! I was sooo excited. I bought myself one too... they are all so cute. I just need to find some more time in the day to go through all of them.. that will be one of my resolutions for the New Year!

For my project featuring the new set I made a little bookmark! I know when my kids are home sick and starting to feel better I love for them to read!! So I think this would be a super cute gift to give someone that is ill along with a book or some nice chicken soup. I used George and Basic shapes and a template for the thermometer( non cricut).

Hooray It's Turkey Day Card!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!! I made this little turkey for my neighbor and friend! She loves the critters and has been sick for the past several months. I wanted to let her know that I am thankful for her and I am hoping this little guy brightens her day!

I hope you all have a beautiful and blessed Thanksgiving. I know I am so thankful for my amazing family, and the fact that I "get" to be a wife and mother!

Later this week we are previewing a "brand new" set of stamps so stay tuned! We are VERY excited!

Reindeer Goody Boxes for M.O.M.S...

Hello Everyone!! I really didn't RETIRE... I swear! I have been so bad at posting lately. Scrappy Mom's has kept us busy and I have had so much going on. I wanted to post this quick little goodie box I made for the MOMS in my Thursday church group( shhh.. don't tell Mel).I made the box with the slumber party cart and the reindeer is from doodlecharms. I tryed to match the reindeer on my little bottles. I also used our TO/FROM Scrappy Mom's Stamps from the Everyday Greetings set!

This is our last meeting of the "YEAR" and I just could not go empty handed. I think this helped me get out of my rutt and I am hoping to have some more projects this week. I am so excited for Christmas and I already have my TREE UP! Can you imagine my hubby went for it?? You can thank my good friend Katie for coming to town. We had Thanksgiving with a Tree.

Also, you have to check out these adorable antibacterial soaps from Bath and Body.. they are so stinkin cute. I apologize for the horrible quality of the photo but my camera ahhh had an accident..it met a bottle of super glue and it was NOT pretty. Santa are you listening??
