Terrific Tuesday Challenge-- Stand and Salute!

Happy Summer Everyone!

Today is another wonderful day at Scrappy Mom's! We are having another Terrific Tuesday Challenge. This weeks challenge is to use the cricut cartridge Stand and Salute.. or any other cartridge in which you can make something super patriotic. I was wanting to do the liberty bell FOREVER and noticed that it is very popular these days. There are so many different takes on it so I decided to put mine on a wobble to make it a little unique. Thanks to LIZ I broke out my brand new Tim Holtz embossing folder for the top of the bell. The real liberty bell has wood EXACTLY like this. Thanks Liz... and of course I used the brand newYankee Doodle Dandystamps for the sentiment.

I am especially excited because as you read this I will be on a plane to my hometown and going to see Lady Liberty herself!!!! It will be an AMAZING way to ring in the Fourth of July. So I wish you and yours a wonderful Fourth..I cannot wait to see my family and get create some amazing memories!! Happy Fourth to you ALL!!!

Scrappy Mom's Sneak Peak #3- As American as Apple Pie

Today I made a little slice of pie from the Lettering Delights pack.. oishi. I agonized over the color of a pie. I wanted to make it red, white and blue but then I thought "ALL AMERICAN" pie is APPLE.. it has to be apple.... the hubs and I decided to make it green for "green apples" and when I went to put it together I thought.. that sure looks like KEY LIME pie to me. Anyway.. I went with traditional apple and the adorable saying from Yankee Doodle Dandy! I put tootsie pops on the inside as a little treat. These would be so fun to fill a basket or pie plate with! I will have a few more things this week!

Scrappy Mom's Sneak Peak #2-- May your day be Sub-Lime

Hi Friends,

In Tribute to Father's Day I made this little shape card with our new Good Eats stamp set. I NEVER have masculine cards so I thought I would put this sentiment to use. I am just LOVING both these sets. I am trying to get lots and lots of use of them before my BIG vaca!

I used the Lettering Delights( pucker up ) for this beer bottle. I added the lime from the coconut drink also found in this set. I used Gypsy wanderings for the tag and honeydew twine which can be purchased HERE. I hope you are all enjoying these fun new stamps!

Scrappy Mom's Sneak Peak #1-- Yankee Doodle Dandy

Today is a super exciting day at Scrappy Mom's! We are releasing two Brand New Sets... Yankee Doodle Dandy and Good Eats! We hope you will love them as much as we do! Terrific Tuesday Challenge-- Sweet Treats Cone

We hope you all enjoyed the wonderful Scrappy Mom's Blog Hop! It was amazing and Congrats to our LUCKY winner who scored the ENTIRE set of Scrappy Mom's Stamps!

Today for our Terrific Tuesday Challenge we are using the Sweet Treats Cartridge. Our second set ever released was Sweet Somethings! I used this set to stamp the sentiment on this ICE CREAM card. I just love how sweet treats has a card feature for EVERY single cut. It makes it so much fun for people that are ADDICTED to shape cards(like myself). this card was super simple to make and I embossed the bottom with my Quickcutz embossing folder.

For my project today I made this KETCHUP shape card. One of my ALL time favorite Scrappy Mom's Stamp Set's has to be A PINCH AND A DASH!! I used a cut from lettering delights to design this card. I just LOVE this set!

Happy First Birthday SCRAPPY MOM'S!!

Please join us this month in celebrating the Scrappy Mom's Stamps one year anniversary! Melanie and I are absolutely thrilled that we have had such success. We were two mom's that were lucky enough to craft together and aspire to have our own unique sayings for our cards and crafts!We dreamt it and it became a reality in which we LOVE!!! We would like to thank ALL of you for your comments, your business and your support.We are also so thankful to have our fantastic designers that make our stamps look so amazing!!

We decided to do a project featuring our favorite stamp set for our first day of celebrations. Today,I created a fortune cookie box from SVG cuts using the Amusing Animals set. This was our VERY first set released. The noodle bowl is from create a critter. It was VERY difficult to pick my fav as really they ALL are my favs!!
